Enough Is Enough

3 Sermons | November 12-26, 2023

In the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving each year, it feels like everyone has tips and tricks to make us more thankful. But the truth is that in spite of all of these tips and tricks, we still aren't great at being grateful.

And we're never going to be great and being grateful until we realize that God has given each of us enough...and enough needs to be enough for us.

Sermon 1

Grateful Not Greedy

November 12, 2023

In the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving each year, it feels like everyone has tips and tricks to make us more thankful. But the truth is that in spite of all of these tips and tricks, we still aren't great at being grateful.

And we're never going to be great at being grateful until we realize just how blessed we are.

Sermon 2

All You Need

November 19, 2023

In 2018, researchers from Purdue University and Gallop Polls found that the average American believes that in order to be content they need to earn an annual salary of $105,000. So it's hard to imagine that anyone making that kind of money would ever just walk away from it.

But in this sermon, we'll talk about someone who did and see how they were able to find true contentment because of it.

Sermon 3

In Every Situation

November 26, 2023

It's a little strange that right after we celebrate a holiday where we're told to be thankful for what we have, that we go out and spend billions of dollars to get more. But that's what we do when Thanksgiving turns to Christmas every year.

So how can we be grateful instead of always wanting more? Paul tells us that we need to learn to be thankful in every situation because it's the only way to realize that nothing is better than God.
