Over our last few storytimes, we have been talking about the different people we meet at the nativity. In this week's storytime, we'll find out who the most important person in the nativity is...this person is the reason why Jesus was born.

Christmas is less than a month away, and we're kicking off the Christmas season as Melbourne Heights in our Kid's Storytime. Over the next few weeks, our kids will be introduced to all of the people we meet in the Nativity and we'll be reminded of what this season is all about: the birth of Jesus.

Halloween is just around the coroner, so for this week’s story time Ms. Michelle is sharing “The Pumpkin Patch Parable” by Liz Curtis Higgs. In this story our kids will be reminded that no matter our shape or size we are all God’s creation and God wants us to shine his light in the world.

For this week's story, we'll be reading "The Sheep That No One Could Find" by Anthony DeStefano. This is a story about a sheep who decides he doesn't want to obey his shepherd...but the shepherd will never give up on his sheep. Just like God never gives up on us.
